Adams Doubles Against Foley
Level 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Roger Foley opened to 4,000 from the hijack before Demond Adams shoved for his final 16,000 from the small blind. Foley called and put Adams at risk.
Demond Adams: A♠K♣
Roger Foley: 6♣6♦
Adams had the best drawing hand in the game and needed to improve, or he would fall to Foley.
Adams did not have to wait long, as the ace came on the flop when it fanned out 10♦4♣A♣ to vault him into the lead.
The 8♥ turn kept Adams in front, and the K♦ river improved him to an unnecessary two pair to secure the double up.
