Joyner Goes Runner-Runner Against Heaton
Level 13
: Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
This hand was picked up on the flop of 10♦3♥2♣ as Colin Heaton and William Joyner clashed in a hand. Joyner shoved after a series of raises for 103,000 from early position, and Heaton called out of the big blind, putting Joyner at risk.
William Joyner: J♣10♣
Colin Heaton: Q♥10♠
Joyner was in trouble as Heaton held the better kicker to go with his pair of tens.
"No jack," said Heaton as they went to a turn.
The turn came the Q♣, which got Heaton out of his seat.
Before Heaton could celebrate, the river came the K♣ to give Joyner a runner-runner flush.
"Shit," said Heaton in disgust as he lost a critical pot to Joyner.
