Sixes Enough for Felsenthal
Level 14
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Elliot Felsenthal opened to 12,000 from early position before the small blind shoved for approximately 42,000. Felsenthal called and put the small blind at risk.
Opponent: K♣Q♣
Elliot Felsenthal: 6♥6♦
Felsenthal held the slight edge and the flop kept him ahead when it came 9♦8♣2♥.
The 10♣ turn gave his opponent a gutshot straight draw to go with his overcards, but the river did not deliver any of them when it came the 5♦ and awarded Felsenthal the pot.
