Stewart Finishes Day 1c as Bubble Boy as Joyner Ends Day 1c
Level 16
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Paul Stewart shoved for his final 54,000 from early position and was called by William Joyner from the cutoff to be at risk on the Day 1c bubble.
Paul Stewart: A♠5♣
William Joyner: A♥8♦
Joyner had the better ace, and the flop made his kicker eligible when it came 2♥7♣6♠, keeping Stewart searching for a five.
The J♦ turn and the Q♦ river were of no help to Stewart as the bubble was popped and Stewart was the victim.
