Hoag Eliminates Francisco
Level 12
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Mark Francisco shoved for his final 21,500 from middle position before Robert Hoag made the call out of the small blind to put Francisco at risk.
Mark Francisco: A♥Q♠
Robert Hoag: Q♥J♥
Francisco was in a prime position to score the double, and the flop did not complicate the prospects of a double-up for Francisco when it came 2♠5♦5♠ to keep him in front.
The turn flipped the script in a hurry when the J♣ peeled to give Hoag a pair of jacks.
Francisco was unable to find an ace on the 7♦ river as he was eliminated.
