Fritzer Gets it Back from Chen
Level 16
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Nan Chen went all-in from early position before Rip Fritzer went all-in for less for 87,000 to be at risk against Chen in an all-in showdown once again.
Rip Fritzer: 9♥9♣
Nan Chen: A♣J♥
Fritzer was ahead preflop, but he needed to fade the overcards to keep his tournament alive.
The 5♠10♦7♣ was no threat to Fritzer as he dodged any danger on the flop.
The turn gave Chen a gutshot with the K♠, but the 10♥ river was a safe card for Fritzer as he secured the double-up.
