Arturo Medina opened to 800 from the hijack before Ronald Segni made the call on the button. Jack Fernandez joined from the small blind, and Alexander Wells hopped in from the big blind to make it a four-way pot preflop.
The A♥8♥A♣ flop led the blinds to check before Medina continued for 3,600. Segni called, while the blinds folded.
Medina and Segni checked the 7♦ turn to bring the J♣ river. Medina bet 5,000 and was quickly called by Segni to go to a showdown.
Medina tabled A♠5♦ for trip aces, but it was no good as Segni's kicker played after he showed A♦10♣ for the better hand to claim the pot.

Last August, Sebastian Acevedo took down the $300 Black Chip Bounty Trophy Event at the 2025 San Diego Poker Classic. Acevedo followed up that victory with a career-best score of $33,216 in the $600 Main Event after agreeing to a three-way ICM chop with James Kozono and David Fernandez Sanchez.
Acevedo captured the lion’s share of the $195,000 prize pool, along with his second SDPC wave trophy of the series.

Brush took the betting lead on the 8♠ turn with a wager of 4,500. The cutoff made the call.
The 2♣ river did not cause Brush to slow down as he put out a large bet of 11,500. His opponent took some time to think over the decision while he staged the calling chips in his hand.
The cutoff eventually made the call as they went to a showdown.
Brush showed 6♠6♥ for two-pair eights and sixes. This was good, as his opponent took some time to survey the board before he tossed his hand in the muck to award the pot to Brush.

The action started with a raise to 600 from an opponent under the gun. This led to a slew of calls, including the middle position, cutoff, button, and small blind. Mahmood Mahdavi called out of the big blind to cap the action as six players took a flop.
The flop was welcomed by a round of checks after it came 10♠Q♠Q♦.
The under-the-gun player fired 1,000 on the K♥ turn. Everyone folded except Mahdavi.
Both players checked the river to go to a showdown. The duo took turns looking at each other as to who was going to show first. After some time, it was Mahdavi who announced "quads" then showed Q♥10♣ for a four of a kind to claim the pot.

There were about 1,500 in the middle on a board that read 8♠J♦10♦. It checked to Wesley McGraw, who put out a bet of 2,500. The small blind called to stay in the hand.
The 7♣ turn led to a pair of checks to usher in the 4♥ river. The small blind decided to take the betting lead with a wager of 2,500.
McGraw beat him to the pot as the small blind was still putting his chips out after announcing the bet while McGraw flicked a calling chip in the middle.
The small blind showed K♠Q♦ for a missed straight draw. McGraw showed A♣4♦ for a rivered pair of fours.

A player from early position limped before Greg Francisco made other 600 from the button. Both blinds called and the early position limper also came along with a call.

The K♥ river led to another bet from the small blind, this time to the tune of 700.
Francisco called and they went to a showdown.
