Alexander Crushes Milam

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Kenny Milam
Kenny Milam

Kenny Milam opened for 5,400 in middle position, and Patrick Alexander three-bet to 15,600 from the button. Milam called, and he shoved all in when the {8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop hit. It was about 43,000 to Alexander.

"I hope you have ace-king, sir," he said. "I call."

Milam said he didn't.

"I'm in trouble then," Alexander said, showing {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

It was Milam in big trouble with the {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} though, and he found no help on the {q-Spades} turn or {k-Hearts} river.

Fish Induces a Bluff

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Brandon Fish
Brandon Fish

Brandon Fish opened for a raise and got one caller from the button. Both players checked down the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board until the player on the button fired 10,000 on the end. Fish thought about a minute and flicked in a call.

"Good call," his opponent said, turning over two deuces.

Fish showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and took the pot.

Bottom Full for Heaps

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

B Vu opened under the gun to 5,200 and got a call from Curtis Edens in the cutoff. Mike Henrich three-bet to 15,000 on the button, and both opponents called and checked to him on {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{q-Clubs}. Henrich bet 20,000 and only Vu called. It went check-check on the {3-Spades} turn, and Vu thought about a minute and fired 27,700 on the {6-Clubs} river. Henrich called.

Vu showed {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a flopped boat and Henrich mucked.

Woodson Gets Value from Wolff

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Thaddeus Wolff and Tim Woodson were in a battle of the blinds, and the latter bet 8,500 on the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{3-Spades} board. Wolff called, and the board double-paired on the {3-Diamonds} river. Wolff tanked awhile and called another 8,500 from Woodson, who turned over {a-Spades}{5-Spades} for aces full. Wolff mucked, and Woodson appears to be the chip leader.

Woodson Wins Massive Pot, Solidifies Lead

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
RunGood Cup Championship Day 1b
RunGood Cup Championship Day 1b

Tim Woodson opened for a raise and saw Ben Reason three-bet to 21,500 behind him. Big blind Curtis Edens shoved all in for about 40,000, and Woodson thought about a minute and dropped his whole stack of T10,000s in to put Reason all in. The RunGood Pro called it off.

Woodson: {a-}{a-}
Reason: {a-}{k-}
Edens: {10-}{10-}

The board ran out clean for Woodson, and he dragged the huge pot. He now seems all but certain to bag tonight's chip lead.
