Day 1a chip leader Ryan Tepen opened with a raise only to have Paul Ewen three-bet all in for 125,000 form the small blind. Tepen made a quick call and Ewen discovered the bad news.
Ewen:
Tepen:
Ewen was behind, but he was drawing to two live cards. Lucky for him, he paired one on the flop. The turn improved Ewen to two pair, which meant Tepen needed a king on the river to win the pot. It wasn't in the cards though as the blanked. Ship the bubble double to Ewen.

The aggressive Ryan Phan raised to 13,000 from the button only to have Adam Dinsmore three-bet all in for 43,000 from the big blind. Phan thought for a few moments and then opted to call the additional 30,000.
Dinsmore:
Phan:
Dinsmore got it in good, but Phan held two live cards. Fortunately for Dinsmore, the board ran out a safe and he avoided becoming the bubble boy.

It didn't take too long for the bubble to burst here in the 2015 RunGood Poker Series Horseshoe Council Bluffs Main Event.
It happened when Brian Turner shoved all in for his last 33,000 from the cutoff and start-of-the-day chip leader Adrian Jimenez, who had plenty of chips to spare, made the call from the big blind.
Jimenez:
Turner:
Jimenez was looking to get lucky to burst the bubble, and much to Turner's dismay the flop gave his opponent a pair. Neither the turn nor river helped Turner, and he was ousted in 46th without a penny to show for it. Meanwhile, the remaining 45 players are guaranteed at least $1,382.

After RunGood Ambassador Justin Gardenhire bowed out in 45th place, Yong Hee Yoon followed him out the door in 44th.
It happened when Nick Weaver limped under the gun and Yoon raised all in for approximately 55,000. David Rockvam then three-bet all in over the top from the button, the blinds both folded, and Weaver got out of the way.
Rockvam:
Yoon:
The flop gave Yoon a gutshot straight draw, but it wouldn't come in as the blanked on the turn followed by the on the river.

Hamid Feiz got his last 95,000 all in preflop and was in great shape to double through Jose Mendoza.
Mendoza:
Feiz:
The flop paired Feiz, but it also gave Mendoza an open-ended straight draw. The turn was harmless enough, but the river wasn't. Mendoza spiked his Broadway straight and just like that Feiz had to make his way to the payout desk.

In the last hand of Level 16, action folded to RunGood Ambassador Michael Sanders on the button and he slid his stack of 70,000 in the middle. Jeff Brin called from the small blind, and after the player in the big folded the cards were turned up.
Sanders:
Brin:
It was a flip, but not after the flop came down to give Brin a boat. Sanders stood and watched helplessly as the blanked on the turn followed by the on the river to send him home in 39th place for $1,382.
