RGPS Bossier City Horseshoe Main Event Profile: The Milkman

Mark Burford grew up just outside of Shreveport and is a local player here at the Bossier City Horseshoe. He earned the nickname "The Milkman" after owning a dairy farm.

Nowadays he owns cattle and says he doesn't really like playing on television, so he hasn't given much thought to the chance at playing on Poker After Dark. He's got a couple levels left before he takes a step closer to qualifying for the Showbound satellite and the shot at playing on PAD.

Josh Wilder Bags Day 1B Lead, 38 More Advance

Josh Wilder
Josh Wilder

Recent WSOP Circuit gold ring winner Josh Wilder bagged the big stack in the second of three flights for the Run Good Poker Series Bossier City Main Event.

Chris Conrad, Chris Horter, and Kris Burchfield all turned up for Day 1B but were unable to find a bag, and will likely be found in the Day 1C field taking their last shots. Ray Henson played one hand before busting and returning to the same seat earlier in Day 1B, but managed to work up that stack and bag 107,000.

The flight drew 188 entries and 38 made it through to Day 2 which starts Sunday at noon.

There is a small break before Day 1C starts and the players are queueing up to take their final shot at bagging for Day 2. Here is a list of the end of Day 1B chip counts.

Chris Conrad Looking for a Bag

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Chris Conrad is in the field early in Day 1C looking to find a bag after playing both previous flights.

He was in a three-way pot on the button and the action checked to him. With the board reading {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}, he bet 1,800 and got two callers.

The river was the {5-Spades} and all three players checked.

The first player to show tabled {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Conrad waited for the other player to muck before revealing {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.
