The Run Good Poker Series Main Event is underway. Cards are in the air for Flight A.
Mark Barrientos was up quite late last night, after final tabling the $200 No Limit Holdem Bounty tournament last night. Barrientos is from Wichita, KS and including him nine family members have made the trip to Council Bluffs Iowa.
The father of five has $32,058 in career tournament winnings and is the owner of ABC Liquidators. He wasn't sure he was going to make it down for the series, considering the weather, but everyone made it safely and Barrientos started off by winning $426 for his ninth place finish in the Bounty tournament.
The plan today was for everyone to go shopping, but Barrientos says, "they went to shop and I went to sleep."

He retired from the Army in 2017 after 20 years as a linguist and his favorite place to be stationed was Korea. He's married with three daughters, the oldest of which is 25.
"It was all fun and games until they were twelve," he says.

A friendly face at a Run Good event is not unusual, but Al stands out among the rest with a large frame and a smile to match.
