A Double Double for Smith

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Kipp Smith was sitting with 6,300 and called from the cutoff after a 19,000 shove from middle position.

Smith showed {7-}{6-} and was in a race against {4-}{4-}. Smith flopped two pair and held as the board ran out {a-}{7-}{6-}{8-}{2-}.

The next hand, Smith shoved from the button with {k-Spades}{4-Spades} and the big blind called with {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Smith doubled up again. He had discussed rebuying before the end of registration but may not have to thanks to a couple timely double ups.
