Blair Hinkle raised to 40,000 from the cutoff and Justin Gardenhire called from the small blind. Survivor's "Boston" Rob Mariano then three-bet all in for 429,000 from the big, Hinkle folded, and Gardenhire thought for a bit before making the call.
Boston Rob was primed to double but little did he know a bad beat awaited him as the flop delivered Gardenhire a set. Neither the turn nor river helped Boston Rob and he got the boot in seventh place.
"Good game, man," he offered before shaking hands with Gardenhire and the other five players at the table.
"My mom is gonna be so mad," Gardenhire said after the hand.
