It was a busy day at the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) “Game 7” stop at the Hard Rock Tulsa. The $675 Main Event attracted 130 entries in Flight B and an additional 131 on Flight C. Along with Flight A’s 111 runners it brought the total field up to 372 entries, which means a $223,200 prize pool is on tap. Exact payouts will be released before the start of play on Day 2, which will see 70 players return to action (18 from 1a; 22 from 1b; 30 from 1c)
Day 1b saw 22 players bag with World Series of Poker bracelet winner Matt Waxman and his stack of 341,500 leading the pack. That is a good deal ahead of Day 1a chip leader Justin Gardenhire, who made it through with 289,000. Meanwhile, 30 players advanced from Flight C with Jason Smith and his stack of 245,500 out in front.
Others to survive Saturday’s flights were Bernard Lee (261,000), RGPS Game 7 Downstream champ Greg Jennings (172,500), RGPS Hard Rock Tulsa Deepstack champ Daniel Lowery (162,000), Cash Carpenter (115,500), Grant Hinkle (115,000), Mark Lafata (101,000), “Boston” Rob Mariano (97,000) Brent Harrington (55,000), and vlogger Johnnie Moreno (32,500).
