On the second and final day of the 2021 RunGood All-Stars ProAm, a champion was crowned as Raminder Singh defeated Danielle Andersen in heads-up play for $10,560 and the inaugural RunGood All-Stars ProAm Trophy. Singh qualified from and represented Seminole Casino Coconut Creek during the event.

The event saw 64 players battle it out. Half of them were RunGood Poker Series qualifiers from across the country as well as 32 invited celebrities, poker media, and poker players. Some notables who came to play but didn’t make the final table included actors Michael Ian Black and Beth Hall, reality television stars ”Boston Rob” Mariano and Tyson Apostol, and Twitch streamers Jake “GernaderJake” Straus and Kenji “NumotTheNummy” Egashira.

Many well-known poker players also came out for the fun event, including Brad Owen, Mike Matusow, David Williams, Koray Aldemir, Frank Kassela, and Jamie Kerstetter.

With an option for one re-entry, there were 88 total entries for a prize pool of $44,000. Seven players made it to the end of the first day and all came back on Sunday looking to claim victory, but only Singh was able to bring the trophy home.

“Totally amazing… Yesterday was great fun,” Singh said. “The whole final table was a great experience for me… Tana and team did a terrific job organizing this.”

Final Table Action

On Saturday,, Andra Zachow was the first one to go out at the unofficial final table in ninth when she lost a flip. After an hour of chips moving around, popular vlogger Johnnie Moreno was the last player to fall after losing a flip of his own. The seven remaining players then bagged and tagged for a live-streamed final table.

Lisa Teebagy was the first one eliminated shortly after the start of the final table when her nines couldn’t hold on the river after Singh made a straight. 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event fourth-place finisher Garry Gates hit the rail in sixth when Andersen smashed the flop by making a boat against him, and Christopher Christian was the next one gone when he got his short stack up against the dominating hand of Singh.

Ebony Kenney was next to make her way from the table in fourth when she called off her short stack in the big blind and couldn’t improve against Andersen’s Big Slick. Brian Frenzel then got his remaining chips in against Singh, and was drawing dead on the turn after Singh flopped a flush. That set up a heads-up battle between Singh and Andersen, with the former starting with a chip lead of over two times the latter.

In heads-up play, Andersen quickly doubled through Singh, but a few hands after, she was left with a short stack after Singh made a straight on the river. Soon after, Andersen got the rest of her chips in against Singh preflop. She was dominated and was left with no outs after Singh turned trips, giving Singh the tournament victory and the trophy.

Congratulations to Raminder Singh for winning the inaugural RunGood All-Stars ProAm!

Danielle Andersen Eliminated in 2nd Place ($7,480)

Danielle Andersen
Danielle Andersen

Danielle Andersen jammed in her 800,000 stack from the small blind and Raminder Singh called in the big blind.

Danielle Andersen: {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Raminder Singh: {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Singh was in great shape to take home the title and although a six came in the window for Andersen, the {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop also put out a queen for Singh to keep him ahead. Andersen was looking for more help, but the {q-Hearts} turn meant it was all over, as the meaningless {10-Clubs} completed the board.

Andersen has to settle for the $7,480 runner-up prize for her great run, while Singh wins the tournament and the trophy.

Brian Frenzel jammed in his 975,000 chips and Raminder Singh called from one seat over in the big blind.

Brian Frenzel: {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Raminder Singh: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop left Frenzel drawing very slim. The {4-Spades} turn left him drawing dead, as the meaningless {a-Hearts} completed the board to give Frenzel a third-place finish good for $5,280.

Meanwhile, Singh now begins heads-up play with a chip lead of over two times the stack of Danielle Andersen.

Danielle Andersen jammed on the button and Ebony Kenney called off her 450,000 stack in the big blind.

Ebony Kenney: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Danielle Andersen: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop put Andersen way ahead and Kenney was calling for clubs or running eights for a chop.

The {7-Diamonds} came on the turn which gave Kenney a bit of hope if another seven were to come, but the {q-Clubs} completed the board to send her to the rail following a great run.

Christopher Christian jammed in his 555,000 stack from the hijack and Raminder Singh called on the button.

Christopher Christian: {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Christian was in rough shape against Singh and was in even rougher shape on the {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop. The {4-Clubs} turn left him drawing dead to the {10-Spades} river, and he made his exit from the final table with a fifth-place finish.

Garry Gates Eliminated in 6th Place ($2,640)

Garry Gates
Garry Gates

Danielle Andersen opened to 125,000 from middle position and Garry Gates jammed in his 485,000 stack from the cutoff. Action folded back to Andersen who called to put Gates at risk.

Danielle Andersen: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}
Garry Gates: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

Gates, who goes by "Garry Gatorr" at the table, was looking to hold to stay alive, but he was all but gone on the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop.

Needing only running sevens to survive, the {6-Spades} turn and {a-Clubs} river left the other players figuratively saying "see you later, alligator," as the 2019 WSOP Main Event final tableist was sent to the rail.

Lisa Teebagy
Lisa Teebagy

Raminder Singh opened to 155,000 from middle position and Lisa Teebagy jammed in her 280,000 remaining chip in from the big blind. Singh called.

Lisa Teebagy: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Raminder Singh: {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop gave Singh an open-ended straight draw but he still needed to improve. The {2-Spades} turn left Teebagy one card away from doubling up, but the {9-Diamonds} spiked the river to give Teebagy a set she didn't want, as it gave Singh a straight.

Teebagy collects a payday of $2,200 for her run in the tournament.
