Adelstein, Lew Tell Contrasting Stories Regarding Controversial HCL Hand

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Hustler Casino Live Hand
Hustler Casino Live Hand

Garrett Adelstein and Robbi Jade Lew have both issued public statements regarding what transpired following the infamous Thursday night hero call on Hustler Casino Live, and their accounts don't seem to match up.

Cliff's Notes version of what took place during what was supposed to be a stream focused on Phil Ivey: On a board of {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, Adelstein bet $10,000 with {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} before Lew, holding {j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, min-raised to $20,000 only for her opponent to move all in for $129,000 total. She tanked and inevitably called with jack-high, and then won both river run-outs to scoop the $269,000 pot.

Murray Doubles in Classic Race

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Daniel Murray
Daniel Murray

After a preflop exchange of raises and re-raises, Daniel Murray got his 36,200 chips in the middle against Victor Cianelli.

Daniel Murray: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Victor Cianelli: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Murray immediately took the lead in this classic race spot as the dealer spread a flop of {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

The {9-Hearts} turn and {6-Clubs} river couldn't bail out Cianelli as Murray flipped his way successfully to a double-up.

Miller Doubles Through Mackiewicz

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With approximately 10,000 in the pot on a turn board of {q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, action was checked to Greg Miler in middle position.

He moved all in for 11,400 chips and Alex Ciphers went briefly into the tank from the small blind before showing the dealer his hand and folding. In the big blind, Mackiewicz now had a decision and she opted to flick in a calling chip to put Miller at risk.

Greg Miller: {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Kristan Mackiewicz: {q-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Miller had the best of it with his eights and sixes against Mackiewicz's pair of queens.

The river {a-Diamonds} didn't help her, but did elicit a reaction from Ciphers who claimed he folded ace-queen as the pot was pushed to Miller.

Twyman Gets Paid In Big Pot

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

With approximately 35,000 in the pot with a completed board of {7-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}, John Twyman bet 15,000 from the hijack, putting his opponent on the button to a decision for what appeared to be all his chips.

The button player made the call to see Twyman show {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for a flopped top set and the winner.

The chips were counted down and the button was left with just over 1,000 chips which disappeared shortly after, sending him to the rail or the reentry line.
