Across two days and four starting flights, a total of 576 entrants created a prize pool of $299,520, which the final 73 players will come back and play for today at noon. Each one of them looking for The RunGood Poker Series Contenders $600 Main Event Title at Horseshoe Hotel and Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa, as well as the seat to the Pro-Am this December.
Kipp Smith bags the overall lead with 877,000, over 200,000 chips more than the next chip count. Smith boasts over $130,000 in lifetime earnings, but despite multiple RGPS cashes, a title has eluded him thus far. He looks to rectify that today as the field shrinks down with his large chip stack.

A couple of RGPS Council Bluff champions that found bags include Derrick Plumage (670,000) and Nathan Steuer (145,000) who will be looking to add to their resumes. Others who managed to find bags at the end of their respective flights include Mo Nuwwarah (477,000), Bernard Lee (438,000), Grant Hinkle (356,000), Papa Karn (204,000), Blair Hinkle (70,000), and Anthony Kellen (1,000).
When the players return today at noon, levels will at 4,000/8,000 with an 8,000 big blind ante. Levels will last 30 minutes each, with a 15-minute break occurring after every three levels. The debut of the ProAM in 2021 saw 32 players from the tour qualify into the filmed event through either winning the $575 RG Main Event or by winning the title of Casino Champion by earning points throughout the week at a RunGood stop.
The other 32 contestants were invited celebrities that consisted of poker personalities, reality tv stars, Twitch streamers, influencers, and other poker media personnel.
The 2022 ProAM sees minor changes in the number of qualifiers from 32 to 24 for a total of 48 total qualifiers and invited guests. The casino champion points race is no longer, as just the winner of the RunGood signature multi-flight DeepStack Event as well as the winner of the Main Event will be each property's qualifiers. There is also a travel stipend included in the 2022 Event.
The filmed ProAM event will be streamed live on both PokerGO’s Twitch and YouTube channels. It can also be found on the PokerGO streaming platform itself in a complete episode from start to finish.

Action was picked up on the flop in a brewing pot between three players including Lenny Hiner in early position, Eric Colvin in the hijack and Grant Hinkle in the cutoff.
On a flop of , Lenny Hiner moved all in for 159,000 which saw Colvin call and Hinkle fold.
