Prevost and Dillon Fall

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Clarence Prevost
Clarence Prevost

The eliminations have continued to pile up as 73 players now remain, just one elimination away from reaching eight full tables of what is now nine-handed play. Among the most recenet casualties were Matthew Dillon and Clarence Prevost, both of whom filled in the details of their bust outs.

Dillon three-bet an open from Beriz Turnadzic, who called to bring a flop of {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Spades} on board. He then made a half-pot continuation-bet and Turnadzic came over the top for Dillon's remaining chips, which he called.

Dillon: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Turnadzic: {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Dillon's top pair, top kicker was ahead of Turnadzic's pair of tens and open-ended straight draw. The turn {7-Clubs} left one card between him and a double, but it fell {a-Hearts} to improve Turnadzic to Broadway.

As for Prevost, he found himself in an all-in preflop scenario with {q-}{q-} against {7-}{7-} and saw a seven hit on the runout to leave him short. Moments later, he got the rest of his chips in with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and made Broadway, only to lose to a flush.

King Hits a Ten; O'Dell at 900K

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Tom King open-jammed for 46,000 in early position and the Robert Palacios re-jammed in the hijack for around 120,000. All remaining players folded.

King: {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Palacios: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} gave King four additional outs to a gutshot straight draw, which connected immediately thereafter on the turn {10-Diamonds}. He faded his a redraw to Broadway on the river {6-Spades} and the double was shipped his way.

On King's left, Dakotah O'Dell was just spotted with a stack of 900K after having 200K earlier today.. According to O'Dell, he got around half of the chips on his old table prior to moving to his new seat, where he's since added another 400K.

"Stand-Up Trick" Works for Palacios

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Brett Reichard raised to 20,000 in middle position and received a call from ClubGG Qualifier Vicki MicKee in the small blind. Robert Palacios was in the big blind and re-jammed for 69,000. Reichard announced a call, sending action back onto McKee, and she let out a sigh and thought for a bit.

"Do the old, stand-up trick," said Palacios, standing up as McKee continued to ponder her options. She let her hand go a few moments later.

Palacios: {8-Spades}{7-Spades}
Reichard: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

"I'm live!" remarked Palacios after seeing Reichard's hand. One of his two live cards hit on the flop {q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and he was able to fade an ace as the turn {4-Clubs} and river {5-Spades} completed the runout.

ClubGG Qualifier McKee Wins a Huge All In

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

A short-stacked Brad Cohen got his last chips into the middle preflop and received action from Chris Fraley in the blinds.

Cohen: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Fraley: {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Cohen flopped top pair on {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades} but was unable to avoid fading Fraley's flush draw on the turn {q-Clubs}. The river {2-Spades} finished the runout and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Moments earlier on the same table, ClubGG Qualifier Vicki McKee won a three-way all in that brought her over 900K. According to McKee and tablemate Dakotah O'Dell, Anthony Scarborough open-jammed and O'Dell re-jammed before McKee announced a call for her entire stack, as well.

Scarborough: {a-}{q-}
McKee: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
O'Dell: {8-}{8-}

McKee wound up hitting Broadway on the river and now has what looks to be the largest stack in the room.

O'Dell Gets Back Over 900K

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The fireworks continue to fly on Table 10, as a seven-figure pot just transpired between Dakotah O'Dell and Chris Fraley.

The two wound up getting stacks in on the turn of a board reading {j-Spades}{k-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{a-Spades} with O'Dell in the small blind and Fraley in early position.

O'Dell: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}
Fraley: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

O'Dell had flopped Broadway and needed to hold against Fraley's trip aces, which he did as the river {7-Clubs} scored him the dub.

On the very next hand, Fraley open-jammed for 70,000 with {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and O'Dell called on the button with {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}. Once again, Fraley made trips on {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{6-Spades}{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and stayed alive as a result, bringing O'Dell back down below the 1-million mark.
