A total of 63 spots will be paid out, with a minimum cash being worth $890. The first-place finisher will earn a cash of $48,855 and an exclusive invitation and $800 seat and stipend package to the RGPS: All Stars Pro-am Event at PokerGo Studios in December 2022.

Nguyễn Out

Huy Nguyễn
Huy Nguyễn

Huy Nguyễn was seen getting to the river on a board of {5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{5-} out of position in a heads-up pot against Noel Eicher.

Nguyễn bet 15,000 on the river and Eicher announced he was all-in with Nguyễn covered. Nguyễn called with what was left of his stack.

Eicher showed {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for the nut flush and Nguyễn shook his head and showed {j-Hearts}{9-Spades} for a straight that was no good.

Nguyễn, who took down the $185 DeepStack Event for $45,385, entered the day as a big stack with 230,000 chips but couldn't keep the hot streak going on Day 2.

Truesdale Spikes River to Double Through Salimi

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Shane Truesdale
Shane Truesdale

Shane Truesdale was in a heads-up pot against Barbod Salimi on a board of {10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{a-Spades} with about half of his stack already in the middle.

Truesdale moved all-in for around 120,000 and Salimi thought for a minute before putting out a stack of chips for a call.

Shane Truesdale: {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Barbod Salimi: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Truesdale was out-kicked by Salimi and at risk of being eliminated. But the dealer put out the {7-Clubs} on the river and the Day 1a chip leader smacked the table in celebration as he hit two pair to stay alive.

"Oh, that's fugly!" a tablemate yelled. "That's fugly."

"Wow," reacted another.

Salimi was gracious after the suck-out and knocked the table with his fist to tell Truesdale "nice hand."

Thomas Eliminates Seem, Cornelius Also Gone

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Vidhi Seem
Vidhi Seem

A player in early position opened and Blaine Thomas three-bet in middle position. Vidhi Seem then cold four-bet jammed a stack of about 160,000 from the button.

The action folded back to Thomas, who took a minute a called with Seem covered.

Vidhi Seem: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Blaine Thomas: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

It was a classic race headed to the flop of {j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} which left Seem ahead with her pocket tens, and {7-Clubs} on the turn didn't change things. Seem winced as the river peeled off the {a-Clubs} to give Thomas a pair of aces and the better hand.

"It is what it is," shrugged Seem as she left the tournament area.

Around the same time, RunGood ambassador Julie Cornelius was seen standing up after being eliminated from the Main Event in 33rd place. Cornelius was the last RunGood ambassador standing as "Boston" Rob Mariano and Joe Stapleton were eliminated earlier in the day.

Kyle Reynolds Eliminated in 18th Place ($2,710)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Kyle Reynolds

Kyle Reynolds in the cutoff was all-in for 187,000 against Shane Truesdale on the button, who had slightly less with a stack of 165,000.

Shane Truesdale: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Kyle Reynolds: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades} to keep Truesdale ahead with pocket tens and the runout of {6-Spades}{k-Hearts} didn't change things to leave Reynolds with crumbs.

"ICM quiz: how much are my 22,000 chips worth right now?" Reynolds asked the table.

"Probably whatever it says next to '18th place,'" replied Andrew Moreno.

Reynolds was left with crumbs and lost it the next hand when he got ace-queen again but was out-flopped by the queen-seven of Moreno.

Gianluca Pace Eliminated in 16th Place ($2,710)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Gianluca Pace and Dustin Orozco
Gianluca Pace and Dustin Orozco

Eric Rabelas opened from middle position and Gianluca Pace three-bet jammed a stack of $378,000 from the small blind. Rabelas took a minute and then called.

Gianluca Pace: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Eric Rabelas: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Pace was dominated but the flop of {q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts} gave him hope with a straight draw. But the board finished out {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and he couldn't get there to be sent out in 16th place.

Forrest Kollar opened from under the gun and Tom Ellison moved all-in as the player next to act. Noel Eicher in the small blind then re-shoved a bigger stack and Kollar called with both players covered.

Tom Ellison: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Noel Eicher: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Forrest Kollar: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

"One time! Kollar yelled before the board ran out {3-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} to leave Eicher's sevens as the best hand and to send Ellison to the rail in 14th place.

Shane Truesdale: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}
