Day 1c has come to a close at the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) $575 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event $200,000 GTD from the Thunder Valley Casino Resort.

Michael Rusnak (563,000) leads the pack from Day 1c. He grabbed a big stack by winning a three-way all-in with pocket aces earlier in the day and never looked back.

There were 455 entries into Day 1c and 57 advanced to Day 2 and each player is in the money. They will join the 55 other players from Day 1a and Day 1b to return Sunday, Jan 9 at 11 a.m. for Day 2.

A new record was set this weekend at the RunGood Poker Series. After three starting flights, there were 890 entries in the Main Event. This breaks the previous record of 851 entries in Omaha, Nebraska at the Horseshoe Council Bluffs stop in June of 2021.

The field also smashed the $200,000 guarantee, generating a prize pool of $445,000. There will be 112 players paid and first place will take home $77,400.

Other players that advanced from Day 1c include Simon Santiago (518,000), Alex Prok (273,000), Frank Saunders (517,000), Kyle Kitagawa (214,000), and Dan Martin (60,000).

They will be joined by qualifiers from the earlier flights such as Day 1a chip leader Tho Duong (494,000), Day 1b chip leader David Newton (624,000), Bernard Lee (576,000) Jeff Platt (144,000) Julie Cornelius (124,000), Sayed Mousavi Rad (405,000), Blair Hinkle (62,000), and Theresa Cummings (353,000).
