Who Will Win The 2022 RunGood Poker Series Contenders Tour Tunica $600 Main Event?
For the second time this year, The RunGood Poker Series has found its way to The Horseshoe Casino and Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi. After a successful week of preliminary events, that saw all of the prize pool guarantees surpassed, the culminating event kicks off its second day at 12 p.m., boasting the largest buy-in at $600, the largest prize pool at $310,440, and the largest prize at $58,110.
72 players return, each one of them guaranteed $962. Leading the way is Jessie Bryant who bagged 915,000, the far and away chip lead. Bryant collected his stack in Day 1a with many late night pots going in his direction, especially some key ones as the bubble loomed. He, like many of the others, is looking for his first RGPS Main Event title.
Joshua Adcock and Chris Hight possess the only other stacks over 800,000 with them each at 854,000 and 800,000 respectively. They each come back with over 100 big blinds, with the intention to put it to good use and make a run towards their own RGPS title.

Defending champion Max Le is still in the field, having bagged 92,000, as well as 2019 champion Tiffany Keathley, who bagged 240,000. Each one of them looking to become two time RGPS Tunica champions, solidifying each of their legacies in the eyes of RunGood. Others still in the mix include Frank Covich (349,000), Kyle Cartwright (323,000), BJ McBrayer (313,000), Preston McEwen (257,000), and Mike Cordell (113,000).
Players will begin play at 12 p.m. with 20:00 remaining on level 15 where the blinds were at 4,000/8,000. Levels will last 30 minutes, with a 10-minute break occurring after every three levels.
