Dawson Goes Three Streets

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Action was picked up on the flop between four players including Bart Bogard in the cutoff and Kerry Dawson on the button, with 5,500 in the center.

The flop came out {8-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, which saw action check to Dawson who bet 2,500, getting one call from the early position player and one call from Bogard.

The turn of {6-Clubs} saw action check around to Dawson who bet 3,000, only seeing the early position player call while Bogard folded.

The early position player checked the {2-Hearts} river and Dawson bet a third time, sizing to 6,000. After spending some time pondering his decision, the early position player tossed in the call, seeing Dawson turn over {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for kings-up, which was good for a sizable pot.

Jon Swift raised to 800 on the button and saw Gurmeet Singh defend his big blind.

Singh checked dark before the flop of {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} rolled out, and called a bet of 800 from Swift.

The turn came out {k-Hearts} with action checking to Swift once more, who sized up to 1,500. Singh responded by quickly raising to 4,400, which had Swift thinking for a bit before tossing his hand into the muck.

Singh flashed a {10-Hearts} before raking in the pot, which has grown to one of the chip leaders of the tournament.
