For the second time this year, The RunGood Poker Series has found its way to The Horseshoe Casino and Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi. After a successful week of preliminary events, that saw all of the prize pool guarantees surpassed, the weekend kicks off with Flight A of The $600 RunGood Main Event beginning at 7 p.m. tonight.
Players will begin the tournament with 30,000 chips with levels beginning at 100/200 and a 200 big blind ante. Levels will escalate once every 30 minutes, with a 10-minute break occurring every four levels. Players will have the option to enter in as many times as they wish in the first eight levels of the tournament. Play will continue until the field plays down 12.5%, then the remaining players will bag up for Sunday October 9th where they will all be in the money. Players who do not bag on this flight, will be able to play the remaining two flights on Saturday, October 8th.
This spring’s RGPS in Tunica saw the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool triple as 602 entrants made their way out to play the main event. After an even chop six-ways, Max Le took home the trophy and $31,234 for his victory. This time around, the buy-in has been upped to $600 while still boasting a prize pool guarantee of $100,000, which it is expected to hit.

Many players have been spotted playing the other events this week, including Denise Pratt, Christopher Conrad, Michael Sanders, YouTuber Ashley “PokerfaceAsh” Frank, WSOP bracelet winners Mike Cordell Kyle Cartwright, and WSOP 2003 Main Event Champion Chris Moneymaker. Many are expected to make appearances in this event and add RGPS rings to their illustrious resumes.

Action was picked up in a raised pot between three players including Daniel Lowery in late position, one player on the button and another in the big blind.
The flop rolled out , which saw the big blind lead out for 2,000. Lowery called and saw a turn heads up as the button folded behind him.
The turn of saw the big blind bet 2,500 and Lowery moved all in for 27,300. The big blind quickly folded and the 10-time WSOP circuit ring winner, took down an early pot.

The first event of the RunGood Poker Series At Tunica, kicked off on Tuesday October 4th at 10:00 a.m. at Horseshoe Tunica Hotel and Casino. Event #1: $200 Seniors event saw a total of 162 entrants starting 20,000, and playing levels that lasted 20 minutes long. The prize pool grew to $25,920, which saw 22 players receive a minimum of $262 dollars.
Play whittled down to the final six players until a deal was struck between them that saw Peter Kenna, who had the most chips at the time, take home top prize of $4,260as well as his first RunGood series ring.

A player called in first position, and action folded around to Ashley "PokerFaceAsh" Frank in the cutoff who raised to 800, getting a call from the big blind and the first position player.
The flop came out which saw both player check to Frank, who sized up to 1,300.
Both players folded and Frank collected an early pot, fresh off of her deep run in RGPS Tunica Event #3: Studio Ring Event.
