Event #3: $250 Studio Ring Event saw a total of 285 entrants over two flights, creating a total prize pool of $57,000, divided amongst the 35 players who made the second day, all in the money.

Marsh Doubles Through Dawson

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Chad Marsh
Chad Marsh

Action was picked up on the river in a confrontation of the blinds between Kerry Dawson in the small blind and Chad Marsh in the big blind.

The board read {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Dawson checked to Marsh who moved all in for 19,500 which Dawson ended up calling.

Marsh turned over {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a flopped straight and Marsh showed {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a no good two pair. The former RGPS Tunica champion found a much needed double up for himself.
