Quaile Cant Stop the Tran Train

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

After a preflop betting war, short-stacked JC Tran and Joseph Quaile got it all in the middle with Tran at risk.

JC Tran: 66
Joseph Quaile: KK

Quaile was a huge favorite to knock out Tran in this spot, especially when the flop came out K25 to give him top set of kings, but the runout of 47 gave Tran a six-high flush on the river to take the pot for the double.

Fierce Play from Kerstetter

Jamie Kerstetter
Jamie Kerstetter

After limping preflop, three players went to a flop of 539 and action checked through to the 3 on the turn.

The small blind checked once more but then, miraculously, Jamie Kerstetter found the courage to bet 1,600 from the big blind with one player still behind!

The middle position player must have sniffed out this strong play and quickly folded while the small blind did the same to award Kerstetter the pot.

Counterfeit Still Good for Peling

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of A24, Zephyr Peling led out for 5,000 and was called by Joe Nguyen to see the 4 on the turn.

Both players then checked and went to the river, which came the 5. Peling then tossed out a bet of 10,000 and Nguyen thought for a decent amount of time before he tossed out chips to make the call.

Peling then shrugged and flipped over A2 for a flopped two-pair but ended up with aces and fours. Nevertheless, this was still good as Nguyen slid his cards into the muck and the pot was pushed over to Peling.

Cannon Rips it on Troendly

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a heads-up flop of AK4, Richard Troendly in the cutoff checked to Deven Cannon on the button, who bet 6,00 into the pot of 18,000. Troendly quickly called and the two went to the turn 2.

Troendly the decided to lead out for 10,000 into the aggressor, who responded by moving all in for 26,100 more (36,100 total).

This sent Troendly into the tank, and after some evaluation, he decided to let it go and the pot was pushed over to Cannon.

The Deck is Riddled with Aces

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Michael Riddle moved all in preflop for around 20,000 and Daniel Turner made the call to put him at risk.

"Hope you don't have much," Turner said as he flipped over 77, to which Riddle responded by tabling AK for a flip.

The board ran out 3410A9 to give Riddle an ace on the turn to keep him alive for the double-up while the table came to the consensus that almost every ace and king was accounted for so he hit his only out.

Platt Applies Pressure for Profitable Pickup

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The late position player opened to 2,500 and the button and small blind made the call, but then Jeff Platt in the big blind did not think the price was quite high enough so he moved all in for around 60,000.

One by one his opponents fell as they dared not cross his path and the pot was pushed his way for a nice pickup.
