Day 2 of RGPS Main Event Set to Begin at Noon

Welcome to Day 2 of the RunGood Poker Series $1,100 Main Event hosted at the Harrah’s here in Kansas City, Missouri. Three starting flights a,b, and c have all been completed with a total of 497 entries, 60 of which will be returning today at noon to play down to a winner.

Coming into the day with the chip lead with be William McCracken with a stack of 1,027,000 followed closely by Joey McCraig who managed to bag 927,000 with Timothy Finley in third with 803,000.

Play will begin on Level 13 with blinds at 3,000/5,000/5,000 and all of the levels will be 40 minutes in length. There will be a break every three levels with a possible dinner break once the final table is reached.

The action was then on Andre Allen, who paused for a moment before announcing that he was all in for roughly 290,000.

On a completed board with around 300,000 in the middle, Scott Duncan and Eric Colvin were heads-up when Duncan bet out 115,000.

After a few seconds, Colvin then slid out a raise to 265,000 and put the pressure back on Duncan.

Duncan thought about it for a few moments but eventually elected on a fold and the large pot was awarded to Colvin to boost his stack to 1,300,000.

McCaig thought about it for a second but then decided to slide his cards into the muck to award the pot to Jones.

Jones is now sitting comfortably at 1,675,000 in chips, one of the largest in the tournament.
