With the elimination of Fadi Moshi, the field has now been trimmed to 17 players, which means they are now on the money/bag bubble and hand-for-hand play is now in effect.

On the stone bubble, short-stacked Anthony Reategui got it all in preflop with Rhonda Vankrey who covered.
Anthony Reategui: Q♣8♣
Rhonda Vankrey: 10♠10♥
Reategui would need some help to stay alive here, but the flop of Q♠K♦10♣ would make that pretty difficult as Vankrey flopped a set of tens. The runout of 5♥A♠ did little to help Reategui's cause and he was sent out on the money bubble.

Daniel Hughes moved all in preflop for his last 30,000 and was called by Nick Wehr to put him at risk of elimination.
Daniel Hughes: 4♣4♠
Nick Wehr: A♥10♠
Hughes was ahead with his pocket pair going into this fight, but the flop of 8♠A♠2♣ put him pretty far behind as Wehr paired his ace. The runout of 7♦9♥ failed to provide Hughes with a four and he was sent to the rail.

After a raise to 30,000 preflop by Taylor Howard, Brendan Wiley moved all in for 69,500. When action got back around to him, Howard paused for a few moments before he made the call to put him at risk.
Brendan Wiley: A♥K♥
Taylor Howard: A♠9♣
Howard did not like to see that he was dominated, but the flop of 3♥9♦5♣ changed things when he made a pair of nines to take the lead.
"NO!" Wiley shouted and banged the table, which seemed to somehow have some effect as the K♠ immediately rolled off on the turn to swing the lead back in his favor.
The 4♥ came on the river to change nothing and Wiley was pushed the pot for the double-up while Howard was cut down to 75,000

The 19 players remaining in Day 1c are now on a 15-minute break and will return to action shortly. The purple 500-chips will also be raced off and colored-up at this time.
Left with a single big blind, Daria Ivantey got her 4,000 chips in the middle against Amy Devaudreuil and one other player.
The two players on the side checked all the way through the J♥9♠4♦6♣J♠ board and tabled their cards. The first player showed 7♣9♣ for nines and jacks while Amy Devaudreuil showed K♥Q♥ for just jacks with a king. Then they turned to Ivantey who hadn't even looked at her cards yet as she had moved in blind. She then picked them up and let out a little shout of delight and tabled 10♥10♦ for tens and jacks to take the pot of 24,000.
