Dan Hamm

A player opened to 7,000 in late position which saw a player in the hijack call and Dan Hamm called in the big blind.

The flop came out 2A3 and Hamm checked to the late position player who continued for 9,000 which prompted a raise in the hijack to 28,000. In the big blind, Dan Hamm re-raised to 100,000 and the late position player call while the hijack shook his head and folded.

On the 7 turn, Hamm moved all in for 218,000 effective and the late position called to create the biggest pot of the tournament over the course of three days.

Jaymie Virtusio
Jaymie Virtusio

A player opened to 6,000 in early position and action folded around to Jaymie Virtusio who moved all in for 17,000 which saw action fold back around to the raiser who called.

Jaymie Virtusio: 33
Opponent: K10

Virtusio had six overcards she needed to fade, and the number increased on the J7J flop. The turn 8 put even more outs to fade as her opponent picked up more counterfeit outs as well as a straight draw, but the river 3 gave Virtusio a full house and she secured the double to survive in the flight.
