Stewart Spikes Seven to Double; Exits Few Hands Later

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

After an open to 2,500 and a three-bet to 8,000 by Edward Liu, Scott Stewart moved all in for his last 15,800.

The action folded back to Liu who made the call to put him at risk and the cards were on their backs.

Scott Stewart: 77
Edward Liu: AK

Stewart was ahead going into this flip, but the flop of 673 had to be feeling pretty safe as he flopped top set of sevens. The turn 6 locked up the hand for him as he improved to a full house and the river was a meaningless 10.

His stack at that point was just a little over a starting stack, but unfortunately, a few hands later he got it all against Randy Shamo and ultimately busted.

Dulatre Flushes Out Karimi and Hernandez

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

After a preflop betting war, Adolfo Dulatre, John Hernandez, and Patsy Karimi got all the chips into the middle, with Dulatre covering.

John Hernandez: AA
Patsy Karimi: AJ
Adolfo Dulatre: 1010

Hernandez was in a great spot to triple-up, but the runout was not his friend as it came 7J9Q6 to give Dulatre a ten-high flush on the river to knock out both of his opponents.

Leese Sits Back Down

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After some preflop back-and-forth, David Leese had made it 25,00o and then his opponent moved all in, covering him.

Leese then went into the tank as he had around 50,000 behind in his stack, around 25 big blinds. After close to a minute, he sighed and made the call, putting himself at risk.

David Leese: AQ
Opponent: AK

Leese was in bad shape with his inferior ace, and the flop and turn 52107 weren't much help. He did pick up some equity when he stood up and gathered his things, and it seemed to work as the river was the miracleQ to keep him alive.

"Where are you going? Sit back down!" another player joked as Leese returned to his seat as his opponent slammed the table in disgust while a large portion of his stack was siphoned off and given to Leese.
