Not all were fortunate enough to see tomorrow, including the rest of the RGPS Ambassadors Jamie Kerstetter, Taylor Howard, Scott Stewart, and Kyle Kitagawa, along with Conrad Simpson.

Flight 1a ended earlier than the following two flights. Play ended with 22:54 left in Level 14 with blinds at 3,000/6,000 and a 6,000 big blind ante. The 53 surviving players will start playing again on Sunday, February 25 at high noon. After the completion of Level 14, the levels will increase to 40-minute blinds, with a 15-minute break after every three levels, with play continuing until a new champion is crowned.

Soskin Eliminates Player to Burst Bubble

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

After some back-and-forth, David Soskin and a short-stacked player managed to get all the chips into the middle preflop on the stone bubble.

Opponent: AQ
David Soskin: JJ

Soskin was in the lead starting off with his pocket jacks, and the runout was very favorable as it came 445J8 to give Soskin a full house to burst the player on the bubble.

Mondegari Goes Runner-Runner to Double on Bubble

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Ken Mondegari moved all in preflop and was called by bug stack Kenneth Douglas to put him at risk.

Ken Mondegari: KQ
Kenneth Douglas: QQ

Mondegari would need a lot of help to stay alive, and he sure got it as the board ran out 68J109 for him to go runner-runner nut straight.

"Wow! You can't kill this guy!" The table collectively groaned as they had to keep playing.

Bubble Time! Hand-for-Hand

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Level 14: Binds 3,000/6,000/6,000

With the elimination of a player, the field has been cut down to 17, and with 16 advancing, they are now on the stone money/bag bubble for this event and are now hand-for-hand.

Soskin Starts Shoving

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Level 14: Blinds 3,000/6,000/6,000

As the players approach the bubble, play has tightened up considerably and some players, like David Soskin, are using this to their advantage.

He has been moving all in very frequently without much resistance, gaining chips here and there and growing his stack to further make the shove more effective.

Fontamillas Takes it Down

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Level 13: Blinds 3,000/5,000/5,000

On a heads-up flop of K93, Lirio Fontamillas checked to his opponent, who bet 18,000 into the pot of around 35,000. Fontamillas then put in the check-raise to 53,000, which his opponent called after a few seconds of thought.

The river came the Q and Fontamillas instantly shoved all, covering the other player, who went deep into the tank.

"Ugh, alright, take it down," the player said as he tossed in his cards and the substantial pot was pushed over to Fontamillas.
