Building off the success of the opening event in Tulsa, the RunGood Poker Series continues taking Destination RunGood on the road to 10 more stops throughout the first half of 2024.
“Destination RunGood is more than just a theme; it's an invitation for players to experience poker as a way to explore the country,” said RGPS CEO Tana Karn. “We've carefully curated the Spring Season to deliver excitement, camaraderie, and unparalleled competition."
Following Tulsa and this exciting week in San Diego, the tour will move on to one of its oldest stops in Tunica. From there, it's on to Jacksonville, where the tour debuted last year. That be followed by regular stops in Joplin and Council Bluffs before returns to Reno and St. Louis in late April.
The tour's final swing will take it to Bay Area-favorite Graton Casino and then Kansas City before the Season Finale at Thunder Valley in July.

Short-stacked Aaron Magers moved all in preflop for around 20,000 and Casey McGuan quickly made the call to put him at risk.
Aaron Magers: 7♣10♣
Casey McGuan: A♠Q♥
The flop of 2♠10♥J♥ gave Magers the lead with his pair of tens, but unfortunately it was short-lived as the turn was the Q♣ to give McGuan the superior pair. The river 2♦ failed to save Magers and last night's PLO ring-winner was eliminated from the tournament

David Soskin moved all in preflop for around 65,000 and Michael Holmes made the call to put him at risk.
David Soskin; A♦A♥
Michael Holmes: 8♣8♠
"Come on! Hold, baby, hold!" Soskin shouted as the flop came out [10c4s3]. The turn 4♥ was safe for him as well as the river 5♠ and he was pushed the pot for a double.
"I folded red eights," another player at the table admitted, "I just wanted to make you sweat," he said and got a laugh from the table.
On a heads-up turn board of 10♥6♥Q♠J♣, there was already close to 75,000 in the pot when Michael Briggs checked to Michael Holmes who moved all in, covering Briggs.
Briggs then went deep into the tank for several minutes before another player called the clock on him and he was given a thirty-second countdown. As his timer reached zero, he stacked up his chips and looked like he was going to send them into the middle, but instead tossed in his cards and the pot was pushed to Holmes.

The players have returned to their seats and registration for this event is now officially closed with 127 entries in this final flight to bring the total to 415!
Of the 127 in Day 1c, 49 remain and 16 will advance to Day 2.
The players are now on their second break of the night and will return to action shortly. Upon the start of Level 9, registration for this event will be closed so this is the last chance players will have to enter into the RGPS Jamul Main Event.
With the bursting of the bubble, the surviving 25 players have bagged up to return tomorrow at noon for Day 2.
There will now be a break in coverage that will resume later this evening, so stay tuned!
A short-stacked player moved all in preflop and was called by Abe DeGuzman and one other player to put him at risk on the bubble.
The flop came out 7♣2♦9♣ and action was checked to DeGuzman, who bet 15,000 into the side pot and was called.
DeGuzman and the other player then checked through the runout of 9♥Q♦ and tabled their hands. DeGuzman flipped over 10♥10♣ aginst his opponent's A♣K♥ to win the side, and his tens were also good against the at-risk player's 8♦8♠ to eliminate him on the bubble.
