Lenard Anderson beat a field of 166 entries to win $8,029 in the Seniors Event on the opening day of Destination RunGood Tunica. Anderson defeated Shannon Hamblen to take the lion's share of the $33,200 prize pool.
Loi Hoang, a final table qualifier from the last stop here in Tunica, finished in third place. Hoang is one of the players in pursuit of Brian Winter on RGPS Player of the Year leaderboard. Robert Matty and Thomas Eubanks rounded out the top five.

Action was heads up with around 10,000 in the middle and 9♥10♥5♣ on the board when Brandy Heddles bet 5,200. John Therrell shoved his last 16,000 from a few seats over and Heddles took a brief moment to think before she tossed in the chips to call.

Miller gave up tthatis pot but he has dragged quite a few more throughout the day and he is the presumptive chip leader with nearly 150,000 as the third level winds down.
A native of Memphis, Miller won a RGPS ring in the $250 Black Chip Bounty tournament at the Tunica stop in September of 2023.
