$600 Main Event
Day 1a Started
Heading out west for the second stop of the year, the RunGood Poker Series has made its way to the second stop of the 2025 season. Here at Jamul Casino in San Diego, California, a total of 12 ring events have been scheduled to play until completion, with the crown jewel of the stop being the $600 Main Event which has a $150,000 prize pool guarantee.
Last time the series made its home here, it was tournament newcomer Maksim Tatarintsev who would cash for the first time, taking home his first ring and main event title for $36,750. He bested a table that included many California tournament regulars like Thomas Carlin and Michael Collopy. Tatarinstev already has cashed in one of the tournaments this week, and will be looking to defend his title.

After five players called preflop, Payam Adhami raised to 3,000 in the big blind and Noel Eicher called in the cutoff.
The flop roled out 10♦4♣A♣ and Adhami bet 3,400 which Eicher called.
Adhami bet 6,000 on the turn 3♦ which prompted Eicher to raise to 20,000 and Adhami called.
On the river 6♣, Adhami checked over to Eicher who moved all in for 5,200 effective, leaving Adhami sighing in his chair. He thought for thirty seconds and decided to call for his last chips.
Payam Adhami: A♦K♦
Noel Eicher: A♠10♣
The aces and tens were good for Eicher to send Adhami out of the tournament early, leaving the former RGPS Jamul Main Event champion to rake in the pot.
