$800 Main Event
Day 1a Started
It’s the dawn of a new year and the RunGood Poker Series is off to a swinging start as the year of 2025 begins with an eleven event series here at the Hardrock Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With the homebase of the series just a couple of miles away from the casino, many of the tours regulars and legends look to add the tour’s newest styled ring to their collection. The crowning jewel of the stop sits in the form of the $800 Main Event which boasts a $100,000 guarantee, the first of its three flights begins today.
Last year, a bunch of the tour's biggest names came out to play the november edition of this main event which drew out 472 entrants and created a prize pool worth $330,400. Among the bunch of legends was the one that became the eventual champion, Eric Bunch. He collected $65,829 for his efforts to claim his third RunGood title. He beat out a field that included former RGPS Main Event champions Iman Alsaden (6th-$13,958), Jesse Jones (18th-$2,811), Tyler Barnes (48th-$1,437), Andre Allen (50th-$1,248), and William McCracken (52nd - $1,248). Many look ready to take their game to the streets in this series too.
