Action continues at Palace Poker for the Dallas stop of the RunGood Poker Series Passport Season, as Day 1a of the $1,200 Main Event gets underway at 11:00 a.m. local time. The tournament features a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool, with seven Day 1 starting flights taking place over three days. Those who advance from each flight will combine and return for Day 2 on Sunday, March 29, where a winner will be crowned.
Players warmed up for the Main Event last weekend in the $360 PokerNews PowerStack, which drew 569 entries and set the tone for an exciting week ahead. Husband-wife duo James and Dori Coyle were both in the mix on Day 2, but it was James who walked away with the $32,211 top prize, along with his first RGPS ring and bragging rights.
