This hand was picked up with approximately 2,400 in the middle on a board that read 9♥2♦4♥. A player from the big blind opted to bet 1,300 before John Moore raised to 4,000 on the button.
Moore's opponent called, and the dealer put out the 3♥ on the turn. The big blind checked before Moore threw out a bet of 6,000. The big blind called.
Both players knuckled the 8♥ river.
Moore showed 10♠10♦ for a pair of tens, which was good enough as his opponent tabled K♣9♠ for a pair of nines to yield the pot to Moore.
