Welcome to Day 1b of the RGPS Horseshoe Council Bluffs Golden Ticket Main Event

Horseshoe Council Bluffs

The final flight of the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Horseshoe Council Bluffs $420 Golden Ticket Main Event is set to kick off at 10 a.m. CST, with the $40,000 Guarantee already more than met. Players from today's flight will be looking to join the 30 survivors from yesterday's Day 1a flight, with Shawn Stevenson and his impressive 412,500 chip stack leading the way. Other notables that advanced to the final day of play from a starting field of 211 include Alex Wheeler (359,500), Kerry Hildebrand (222,000) and Steve Fredlund (119,500).

Players in today's Day 1b flight will begin with 20,000 in tournament chips, and once the action kicks off at 10 a.m. CST, blinds will start at 100/100 and increase every 30 minutes through Level 12. Beginning with Level 13, blind levels will be 45 minutes in length. Play will conclude for the evening at the same time that yesterday's Day 1a flight ended, which was with 18:18 left in Level 14, or at the Tournament Director's discretion. Players may re-enter and late register up through the break at Level 8. Survivors from the two starting flights will reconvene on Sunday, November 13th at 10 a.m. to play down to a champion.

That champion will earn the aforementioned Golden Ticket, which gives them a coveted seat in the RGPS All-Stars ProAm on December 11th and 12th. The inaugural RGPS: All-Star ProAm event will take place inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the 64-player field will include 32 players that qualified at various events throughout the RGPS season (including three more qualifiers during this series), along with 32 invited players that include celebrities, streamers, and poker industry members. All of the action will be streamed on PokerGo, as well, so players looking to make their mark in front of a viewing audience will be looking to nab one of the last Golden Tickets to be handed out before the ProAm gets underway.

PokerNews will again be covering all the action from Horseshoe Council Bluffs, so stay tuned as the final flight of the RGPS Golden Ticket Main Event kicks off shortly!
