A player raised to 1,100 from middle position, and was called by Terry Gardner in the small blind and Kim Kilroy in the big blind.

Action checked to the raiser on a flop, and he bet 2,000. Gardner tanked for a few moments, then check-raised to 6,500. Kilroy and the middle-position player both folded.

"Ace-king, no diamonds," Gardner told the table after the hand.

Carson Casts One Out

One short-stacked player was already all-in with a board on the felt from the big blind, and Duane Gerleman checked from under the gun with 6,000 already in the side pot. Harry Carson checked back, and the fell on the river. Gerleman checked again, and Carson bet 3,000. Gereleman called, and Carson tabled for the nut flush. Both of Carson's opponents mucked, and the big blind was eliminated.

Elsewhere, Jon Stanfield was eliminated, but is in the re-entry line to take another shot at making another deep run at RGPS Horseshoe Council Bluffs.

Kenneth Baime Claims ProAm Seat After Winning Event #1: $250 Black Chip Bounty Event

This weekend at Horseshoe Council Bluffs, a total of three Golden Tickets were available for players to try and earn their way to the RunGood Poker Series All-Stars ProAm, by winning any of the three tournaments taking place. One of those tournaments was Thursday's Event #1: $250 Black Chip Bounty, which saw 267 players hit the felt in search of $100 Bounties, the ProAm Seat and a coveted RGPS All-Stars Ring.

In the end, it was Kenneth Baime who earned the victory and $6,863, along with the ring and the seat in December's All-Stars ProAm.

Fortuitous Turn For Watkins Earns a Dub

Patrick Watkins checked a board from the small blind, and the big blind bet 2,000. The hijack called, and Watkins check-raised all in for 6,600. The big blind made a quick call, while the hijack folded.
