On a board reading {q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts} David Tuchman faced an all-in bet of 22k from an opponent.

Tuchman thought it over and slid in a call.

Tuchman: {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Opponent: {9-Spades}{7-Spades}

His opponent turned over a bluff and Tuchman happily showed his two-pair for the pot.

Day 1b and Day 1c of the RGPS Jamul $575 Main Event Commence Today

RunGood Poker Series Ring
RunGood Poker Series Ring

The latest stop on the 2021 schedule for the RunGood Poker Tour continues Main Event action today! San Diego's Jamul Casino hosts the $575 Main Event, with Day 1b action beginning at noon, and Day 1c at 7 p.m. local time tonight.

The Main Event guarantees $100,000, and today's phases plays as the second and third of three Day 1 flights. Players in the San Diego area can take advantage of unlimited re-entry through the start of Level 9 in either (or both) of today's starting flights.

The Jamul Casino series takes place as the latest chapter of the 2021 All Stars Comeback Tour powered by PokerGO. The eventual winner not only wins the champion's share of the tournament prize pool, but also wins a $550 seat to the RGPS All Stars Pro-Am at PokerGO Studio in December.

All players start with 20,000 tournament chips, with Level 1 beginning with the blinds at 100/100. A big blind ante kicks in on Level 2.

All Day 1 flights play through 12 half-hour levels, and surviving players from the trio of starting phases will reconvene as a combined field for Day 2 on Sunday, Sept. 12. Day 2 begins at noon, and the levels increase to 45 minutes until a champion is determined.

Main Event players can look forward to the usual festive atmosphere and cast of characters that define RunGood Poker Series events. Already spotted at Jamul Casino earlier in the week were players like Johnnie "Vibes" Moreno, David Tuchman, "Boston" Rob Mariano, and many other familiar faces.

This week's festival marks the second time Jamul Casino has hosted an RGPS event in 2021. In June, the $575 Main Event saw 559 entries push the final prize pool to $279,500.

That tournament ended in a rare nine-way deal at the final table, with Armando Mesina taking home the official win and the seat to the 64-player All Stars Pro-Am.

Who will take the latest RunGood Poker Series Main Event crown? PokerNews is on hand throughout the weekend with live updates, so check this page throughout the Main Event.
