This time around, he went from a short stack to winner after a topsy-turvy final table that saw some of the shorter stacks make it to the end while some who came in with bigger stacks fell early on.

The day got started on a good note for Vieira as he flopped a set early on to win a pretty big pot and get among the big stacks. He also scored the first elimination when a dominating ace held against the ace-three suited reshove of Samuel "€urop€an" Vousden.

Vieira continued building from there, but start-of-day leader Michael "imluckbox" Addamo who scored a series of knockouts to reassert himself as co-favorite with Vieira. Addamo's typically swingy journey included some highs and lows but he seemed to be in good shape after busting Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle, who called this the "ultimate final table of death," in fifth place.

However, Addamo would go down in fourth after a very unlucky spot saw him make queens full only to run into the slowplayed aces full of Vieira after the latter limped blind versus blind.

Of course, the flip side was that it was a dream scenario for Vieira, who then had two-thirds of the total chips. From there, he had Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph and Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski in a tough ICM situation, especially when they were even-stacked.

While Badziakouski would ultimately bust Rudolph to give himself a fighting chance, he just ran a pocket pair of fives into Vieira's stronger tens on the first hand of heads-up play to end things in a flash.

On the first hand of heads-up play, Joao "Naza114" Vieira made it 247,200 and Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski shoved for 5.6 million.

Vieira quickly called with {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} that dominated his opponent's {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}.

Badziakouski found nothing on the {q-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs} runout and had to settle for second place.

Christian Rudolph

Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski opened for 240,000 on the button and Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph called in the big blind. Rudolph check-called 120,000 on the {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop and 480,000 on the {2-Spades} turn. On the {k-Hearts} river, Rudolph checked and Badziakouski shoved all in. It was for 1,485,452 effective, just under the pot size.

Rudolph tanked well into his bank and ultimately went for the call. His {q-Clubs}{j-Spades} was no good against {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for trips.

Michael Addamo

Joao "Naza114" Vieira completed the blind and Michael "imluckbox" Addamo checked the option. Vieira bet 100,000 on {10-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and Addamo called. The {10-Clubs} checked through and Vieira bet 150,000 on the double-pairing {q-Hearts} river. Addamo made it 750,000 and Vieira shoved. Addamo had just shy of 1.2 million left.

He called off with {q-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for a full house but was no good against the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} of Vieira.

Joao "Naza114" Vieira opened for 144,000 on the button and Michael "imluckbox" Addamo made it 574,000 in the small blind. Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle tanked awhile then shoved for 1,070,552. Vieira mucked but Addamo was all too happy to call with {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}.

Rolle held {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} and got zero help on the {8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop. The {3-Spades} and {10-Clubs} didn't do it either for him.

Wiktor "Iimitless" Malinowski raised to 140K on the button and quickly called it off when big blind Michael "imluckbox" Addamo shoved in the big blind with a covering stack of Malinowski's 1.25 million.

Malinowski: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Addamo: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

Addamo flopped the best of the race on {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and hit another queen on the river to boot.

Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford defended big blind from a cutoff min-raise by Michael "imluckbox" Addamo and checked the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop. Addamo bet the minimum, 70,000 and Beresford called. On the {8-Clubs}, Beresford check-called 170,363 and the river was the {j-Clubs}.

Beresford had 614K left to play and he check-called that sum off with {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for trips. However, he was crushed from start to finish by {a-Spades}{10-Spades} with the kicker barely playing for Addamo.

Michael "imluckbox" Addamo clicked raise in the hijack and that was met with a jam worth 969,102 by neighbor Niklas "Lena900" Astedt. Addamo quickly called after the button and blinds mucked.

Addamo: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Astedt: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Addamo may have feared another bad beat after the {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} flopped to give Astedt a flush draw. He added a straight draw while losing his pairing outs on the {q-Hearts} turn. The {9-Diamonds} river didn't do it for the Swede.

Joao "Naza114" Vieira opened for 103,000 in the cutoff and Samuel "€urop€an" Vousden shoved all in from the small blind. It was a hair shy of 1 million and Vieira looked him up.

Vieira: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Vousden: {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Vousden was dominated and things got worse then Vieira paired up on the {6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop. The {10-Hearts} turn was even worse, leaving Vousden drawing dead.

He exits in ninth with a $54K payout.

Lucky Double for Badziakouski Propels Him into Lead

Addamo had one out.
Addamo had one out.

Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski opened for 126,000 in the cutoff and Michael "imluckbox" Addamo three-bet in the big blind to 425,000. Badziakouski went into the time back then jammed for just under 1.5 million. Addamo snap-called.

Addamo: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Badziakouski: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Addamo was set to take even more control of the tournament, but alas for him, the {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts} flop was a grim one. The {5-Hearts} turn left him hoping for a one-outer but the {j-Clubs} river wasn't it.
