Gaddi Doubles Through McCormick

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

One hand after Shogie Saysamone doubled up through Brian McCormick, Scott Gaddi chipped away even more at the chip leader. Gaddi shoved for 153,000 from the cutoff and McCormick called from the button. Gaddi was behind with the {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades} against the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}, but the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{A-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} board gave Gaddi a winning pair of aces and the much-needed double.

Get to Know Your Chip Leader

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Brian McCormick only has two results on his Hendon Mob database profile, but one of them came right here in last year's Seneca Fall Poker Classic. McCormick finished runner-up to Andy Spears in the Main Event, pocketing more than $32,000 for his two days of work. It was a back-and-forth heads-up battle between McCormick and Spears, but eventually the seasoned pro ousted the amateur after nearly five hours.

Slowing to a Crawl

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

A lot of small pots are being passed around at this time. Brian McCormick still leads with about 940,000, although it's difficult to get an exact count of his tower of red and yellow chips.

Bob Herman - 7th Place
Bob Herman - 7th Place

Scott Gaddi raised to 25,000 from the cutoff and Bob Herman called all in for less in the big blind. "Time to gamble," said Herman as he rolled over his {8-Spades}{4-Clubs}. He had live cards against Gaddi's {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, but the {j-Spades}{Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{7-Clubs} board sent him to the cashier to collect his $2,462 payday.

Adam Foster Eliminated in 8th Place ($1,908)

Adam Foster, who had been quiet at this final table, shoved for 133,000 from the cutoff and Scott Hosbach called from the button. Scott Gaddi though it over for about 30 seconds in the big blind befor letting it go. Cards on their backs.

Foster: {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Hosbach: {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

The Hosbach buzzsaw continued to drive through this field as the {5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} board sent Foster to the rail in eighth place.
