D'Grillo More than Doubles; Olshan and Peperone Eliminated

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Ron D'Grillo
Ron D'Grillo

Nick Peperone moved all in for 27,300 from the hijack and Dave Olshan called from the button. Ronny D'Grillo also called from the small blind, creating a big pot even before a flop.

The dealer fanned {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and the two live hands both checked, bringing the {3-Hearts} on the turn. D'Grillo led out for 25,000 and Olshan tank-called. The river was the {A-Spades} D'Grillo quickly moved all in and Olshan called.

D'Grillo: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Olshan: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

Peperone mucked at the sight of D'Grillo's set and he exited the tournament area. Olshan was eliminated two hands later.

Double Knockout for Zakarian

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Veerab Zakarian
Veerab Zakarian

We caught up with the action preflop as Rob Bourkey was all in against Veerab Zakarian and David Schrader. Schrader still had 30,000 in his stack when the flop rolled out {2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Zakarian put Schrader all in and he called.

Bourkney: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Zakarian: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}
Schrader: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

Zakarian was way out in front with his aces and the {3-Spades} turn and {6-Diamonds} river sent Bourkney and Schrader to the rail.

Matt Cafarella
Matt Cafarella

As he was leaving the tournament Matt Cafarella told us he lost {A-}{K-} to {A-}{Q-} for all of his chips. It looks like John Stempien handled the dirty work.

Great Turn for Gaddi

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Scott Gaddi
Scott Gaddi

Andre Smith recapped a hand for us moments ago that saw Scott Gaddi increase his stack to 100,000.

Lue Huang opened from the cutoff, Shooter Stracuzzi called from the small blind and Gaddi jammed from the big. Huang folded but Stracuzzi called and was dominating with {9-}{9-} against Gaddi's {10-}{9-}.

Gaddi found some life with an open-ender on the {J-}{8-}{X-} flop and he hit his straight on the turn to stay alive.
