The two starting flights are in the books, and now it's moving day in the $1,000 Seneca Fall Poker Classic Main Event. Sixty-five players punched their ticket to Day 2 with the ultimate goal of winning the trophy and the $57,736 top prize.
Joe Ciffa enters Day 2 with the lead after 297,600. He holds a sizable edge over his next closest opponent, Mandeep Chahal, who finished Flight B atop the counts with 244,500. Among the others taking big stacks into Day 2 are Rob Davis, Greg Miller, Ryan Rivers Jeff Hagen and Veerab Zakarian.
The action resumes at noon ET today with blinds at 1,200/2,400 and a 300 ante. The levels will be increased from 45 to 60 minutes, and then increased again to 90 minutes later today as the pressure builds. Only the top 24 places will be paid, meaning more than half the the returning players will go home empty-handed today.

Nick Peperone moved all in for 27,300 from the hijack and Dave Olshan called from the button. Ronny D'Grillo also called from the small blind, creating a big pot even before a flop.
The dealer fanned and the two live hands both checked, bringing the on the turn. D'Grillo led out for 25,000 and Olshan tank-called. The river was the D'Grillo quickly moved all in and Olshan called.

Peperone mucked at the sight of D'Grillo's set and he exited the tournament area. Olshan was eliminated two hands later.

We caught up with the action preflop as Rob Bourkey was all in against Veerab Zakarian and David Schrader. Schrader still had 30,000 in his stack when the flop rolled out . Zakarian put Schrader all in and he called.

Andre Smith recapped a hand for us moments ago that saw Scott Gaddi increase his stack to 100,000.
Lue Huang opened from the cutoff, Shooter Stracuzzi called from the small blind and Gaddi jammed from the big. Huang folded but Stracuzzi called and was dominating with against Gaddi's .
Gaddi found some life with an open-ender on the flop and he hit his straight on the turn to stay alive.
