Day 1c Started
Two down, four to go. Event #5 of the 2014 Seneca Niagara Summer Slam continues this morning with the third of six starting flights. Flight C begins at 11 a.m. ET inside the Seneca Poker Room and will be followed by Flight D at 6 p.m. ET.
Each player in this special event will begin with 15,000 in chips and registration and re-entries will be open until the start of Level 9. Play will end at the conclusion of 12 30-minute levels or when only 12% of the field in the flight remains. Any player that survives a flight will have the option of playing another flight and taking their largest finishing stack forward to Day 2 on July 31.
Yesterday, Lam Ngo set the pace by bagging 234,300 in chips at the end of flight A. The only other player to reach the 200K barrier was John Stemper who led the Flight B survivors with 201,000. A total of 240 players participated in the first two flights and 46 punched their ticket to Day 2 on Thursday.
