Ostrander had the and needed to come from behind, and once again Thomas couldn't hold with the best hand as the board gave Ostrander a pair of jacks.
"I lost every flip today," Thomas said. "How do you go this deep in a tournament and lose every flip?"
Todd Saffron shoved for 575,000 from the button and Buck Ramsay reshoved from the small blind. Jacob Ostrander released, and Saffron was flipping for his tournament life.
