Ramsay Rolling

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Buck Ramsay raised to 125,000 from the small blind and Jake Ostrander defended his big blind to see a {8-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop. Ramsay fired 110,000 and Ostrander called, bringing the {3-Spades} on the turn. Ramsay bet again — this time 175,000 — and Ostrander called.

The {5-Hearts} completed the board and Ramsay emptied the chamber with a bet of 265,000. Ostrander quickly called and Ramsay tabled the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for a pair of queens.

Geoff O'Connor Eliminated in 5th Place ($9,988)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Geoff O'Connor moved all in for around 600,000 and Dan Wagner called. What ensued won't be soon forgotten by either player.

O'Connor: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Wagner: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

Flop: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

"Sick!" yelled Blake Napierala from the rail as O'Connor spiked a jack to take a huge lead.

Turn: {A-Hearts}.

O'Connor had jacks full of aces and Wagner was drawing to four outs.

River: {A-Spades}

The table exploded as O'Connor's full house was counterfeited on the river and Wagner took the pot with aces full of queens.

"That's one for the Internet," said an onlooker.

Palma Doubles

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Vince "Rambo" Palma moved all in for 490,000 from the small blind and Dan Wagner looked down at the {5-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and called. He was flipping against Palma's {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}, but the {8-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{K-Clubs} runout hit Palma hard and he doubled to 1.1 million.

Jacob Ostrander raised to 185,000 from the button and Vince Palma shoved for around 1,050,000 from the small blind. Dan Wagner folded his big and Ostrander called.

Palma: {A-Spades}{9-Spades}
Ostrander: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Ostrander stood up in anticipation as the board ran out {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} to send Palma out the door and move Ostrander into second place.

Ramsay Four-Bet Shoves

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Buck Ramsay raised to 170,000 from the button, Jacob Ostrander called from the small blind and Dan Wagner three-bet to 500,000 from the big blind. Ramsay asked for a count on Wagner's stack — 1.8 million behind. Ramsay moved all in, Ostrander snap-folded and Wagner tanked for two minutes before letting it go.

"My Spirit is Broken by Buck"

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Dan Wagner finished second in Event #2 and had his way with most of that final table, raising liberally with most of them getting through.

Today, not so much. Buck Ramsay has reraised Wagner four times during this level and Wagner has folded each time.

"My spirit is broken by Buck," he told us.
