Monday is a holiday in Canada, which means many Canadian travelers are taking advantage of the long weekend by crossing the border into Western New York. This has resulted in long wait times getting in and out of the U.S. — bad news for Canadian players making the trip to play the Main Event today.
Sonny Rattan and Scott Aitchison both told us it took them three hours to get into the States this morning. Fellow Canadians Cameron Bartolotta and Kali Zurek also arrived late after dealing with a long delay at the border.
