Pawlowski Gets Everything but the Kotchie Sink

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded to Glenn Pawlowski on the button and he opened for 30,000. The small blind folded, and then Howard Kotchie three-bet all in for 140,000. Pawlowski made the call and it was off to the races.

Pawlowski: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Kotchie: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

The {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} flop gave Kotchie a gutshot Broadway straight draw, meaning any paint would win him the pot. The {2-Spades} turn added a flush draw to the mix, but there was no payoff as the {3-Diamonds} blanked on the river. Kotchie missed and fell in the closing minutes of Level 19 while Pawlowski extended his chip lead.
