Bad Beat = $$$

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

The Western New York Poker Challenge isn't the only thing generating excitement here at the Seneca Poker Room. The Bad Beat Jackpot is currently $142,764!

Seneca Poker Room Manager Amanda Scarcelli told us that the jackpot is the biggest it has been since 2010. This room is filling up right now with cash game grinders looking to hit that big score. The qualifying losing hand is a minimum of quad twos, and both of your hole cards must be used to be eligible.

Gaddi's Aces Cracked

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

On a flop of {Q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}, Scott Gaddi raised all in for about 12,000 and his opponent tank-called. Gaddi tabled {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} and was way ahead of the other player's {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}, but the {Q-Hearts} spiked on the turn to leave Gaddi with just two outs to win. The {7-Clubs} completed the board, and Gaddi was eliminated.

Brocato Survives

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Justin Brocato
Justin Brocato

A player in middle position raised and Justin Brocato moved all in for 6,450 more from the small blind. The original raiser, who had only looked at the {A-Spades} before raising initially, slowly peeked at his other card, the {10-Diamonds}, and called. Brocato was in front with the {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}, and the {9-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts} board rang true to secure his double to 13,500.
