Mackiewicz Doubles

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

With 150,000 in the middle on a {6-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop, Kristan Mackiewicz shipped it in for her last 260,000.

Silvio DeRubeis made the call with the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} dominating Mackiewicz' {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. However, the {q-Hearts} turn gave her a straight draw and the {9-Clubs} completed it, giving Mackiewicz the double up.

Ciffa Doubles

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Joe Ciffa open shoved the cutoff and Kristan Mackiewicz re-shoved from the small blind.

It was his {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} needing a ton of help against her {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}, finding it on the {4-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} run out to double through.

Gras Misses Dinner

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Chris Gras
Chris Gras

Most of the players were headed off on the dinner break when Todd Saffron and Chris Gras got involved in a big hand.

Gras shoved the turn of a {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} board for around 600,000 and Saffron called with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for Broadway. Gras needed a spade to survive with his {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}, but the {7-Hearts} river was not one.

With his elimination, the final table of ten was set and the players did go on dinner. Play will resume at approximately 7:40 p.m. local time.

The 11 players left will resume play at approximately 7:35 local time.

Massive Cooler Puts Baranyi Ahead Big

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Dominic Baranyi
Dominic Baranyi

Todd Saffron opened to 60,000 from the button and [Removed:339] flatted from the small blind.

Dominic Baranyi bumped it to 150,000 from the big blind and while Saffron folded, [Removed:340] called. The flop came {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and after Baranyi led out for 200,000, [Removed:340] shoved.

Baranyi called off some 600,000 with the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and was light years ahead of [Removed:340]'s {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. Baranyi held on the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} run out to snatch the 1.7 million chip pot and [Removed:340] was left crippled, busting the very next hand.

Gaddi Gone

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Christopher Gaddi got it in with two jacks, but lost a race versus Brad Bourne's big slick to go bust, putting on a hilarious show on his way out the door.

"Great...you know what you guys just did? My Dad was going to come down here and everything," he shouted, storming away from the table in a huff and picking up his phone.

"Dad?" he bellowed.

Gras Doubles

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Chris Gras was trending downwards until he just got healthy again through Todd Saffron.

He called a raise from the big blind, then check-called all in on a {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop with the {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts} when Saffron shoved {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

Gras got whole after the {5-Diamonds} turn and {j-Clubs} river.
